Born in Montevideo, Uruguay. He started his vocal technique and repertoire studies with Madame Gilda Dolara. He also studied guitar, piano and scenic art.
Mr. Marandino made his opera debut in 1997 as Pang in Puccini's Turandot at the Teatro Solís of Montevideo, rol he sang again in Porto Alegre (Brazil). That same year he sings Lord Arthur Bucklaw from Donizetti's "Lucia di Lammermoor" and in 1998 he debuts Il Tinca from Puccini's "Il Tabarro", both of them at Teatro Solís. Next year he appeared several times with the "Compañía Uruguaya de Zarzuela" in zarzuelas such as "Los Gavilanes" and "La del Manojo de Rosas" both in Montevideo and in Colonia, Uruguay.
In 2000, Mr Marandino makes his Buenos Aires debut as Alfredo in Verdi's "La Traviata", The Duke of Mantova in Verdi's "Rigoletto" and Edgardo di Ravenswood in Donizetti's "Lucia di Lammermoor", the three of them in concert versions. He sings at Teatro Avenida with soprano Adelaida Negri as partener, the Arturo from Bellini's "La Straniera" and at "Teatro Roma" of Avellaneda the Corrado in the argentinian premier of Verdi's "Il Corsaro".
Mr. Marandino also performs the title rol in Verdi's first opera, "Oberto" in Mar del Plata, Rosario and Buenos Aires.
In 2001, he returns to "Teatro Roma" of Avellaneda and sings the title roles in Verdi's "Alzira" in the south-american premier and in the world's premier of Felipe Boero's "El Inglés de los güesos". Mr. Marandino also sings the Ernani of this Verdi's opera, with great audience success and excellent critics. Then Mr. Marandino sings Gounod's "Roméo et Juliette" at "Teatro York de Vicente López". He sings that year, Mascagni's "Messa di Gloria" at the San Isidro's Cathedral of Buenos Aires, the role of Ismaele in Verdi's "Nabucco" at Teatro El Círculo of Rosario, Argentina, and again the Romeo of Gounod's "Roméo et Juliette" in Montevideo.
Mr. Marandino sings in the following theaters,  "El Círculo de Rosario", "Roma de Avellaneda", "Margarita Xirgú de Buenos Aires", "Avenida" and "Colón de Buenos Aires", masterpieces such as Mozart's "Requiem", Verdi's "La Traviata" and  Cherubini's "Medea".
In 2002 he sings the role of Sir Robert Leicester in Donizetti's "
María Stuarda" with Madame Adelaida Negri in the title role and the Jason in Cherubini's "Medea" also with Mme. Negri in the title rol. That same year he is chosen in Buenos Aires to participate in the Operalia 2002 Singing Competition, in Paris. Afterwards Mr. Marandino sings the Alfredo in Verdi's "La Traviata" at Teatro El Círculo of Rosario and that December, he sings the role of Riccardo in Verdi's "Un Ballo in Maschera" at Teatro Roma of Avellaneda and Beethoven's "Ninth Symphony" with the "Orquesta Sinfónica de Bahía Blanca" (Bahía Blanca's Symphonic Orchestra). 
Mr. Marandino takes part in great number of recitals and concerts with piano and orchestra all through Argentina and Uruguay.
In 2003 season, he sings the role of Pinkerton in Puccini's opera "
Madama Butterfly" at Teatro Avenida and in May he makes his Teatro Colón debut as Mario Cavaradossi in Puccini's "Tosca" and again he sings the role of Javier in Federico Moreno Torroba's  zarzuela "Luisa Fernanda" at Teatro Avenida of Buenos Aires and at Teatro Municipal of Santiago de Chile. Mr. Marandino sings the role of Romeo in Gounod's "Roméo et Juliette" at the "Manufactura Papelera de Buenos Aires", and finishes the season of "Buenos Aires Lírica" singing the role of Sir Edgardo di Ravenswood in their production of Donizetti's "Lucia di Lammermoor" at Teatro Avenida.
In 2004, he participates in the opening title of  Teatro Colón's season, Mozart's "Die Zauberflötte", with Michael Hampe's production, in the world premier of the opera "Fuego en Casabindo" of the argentinian composer Virtú Maragno and in the southamerican premier of
Krzysztof Penderecki's opera "Ubu Rex".
Mr Marandino takes part again in Operalia 2004 Singing Competition at Los Angeles and at his return he sings several concerts and must be specially named the Benefit for the "Editorial  Victoria Ocampo" at the "Museo de Arte  Hispanoamericano Isaac Fernández Blanco"  (Isaac Fernández Blanco Hispano-American Art Museum) in Buenos Aires.
In 2005 for the third time he sings at the "Zürich Gala del Mar" (a seaside concert with more than ten thousand spectators) that takes place at the city of Mar del Plata. Mr. Marandino then sings Riccardo in Verdi's "Un Ballo in Maschera" at
Teatro Avenida
in Buenos Aires and Rodolfo in Puccini's "La Bohème" at Montevideo's Teatro Solís.
In 2006 he returns to Rosario's Teatro El Círculo to sing Pinkerton in Puccini's "Madama Butterfly" and then he makes his Teatro Argentino de La Plata as Romeo in Gounod's "Roméo et Juliette.
Mr. Marandino makes his Teatro de la Universidad de Concepción, Chile debut in 2007 with the Antonin Dvořák's "Stabat Mater", then with the SODRE's orchestra and choir he sings in Montevideo Verdi's "Requiem", in Buenos Aires' Teatro Avenida the Fernando in A. Vives' "Doña Francisquita"  and the Edgardo from G. Donizetti's "Lucia di Lammermoor" at the Teatro Roma de Avellaneda.
 In 2008 he takes part in the  Teatro Colón Anniversary Galas for the 100 Years and at the Concert for G. Puccini's 150th. birthday  at the Catholic University of Uruguay's Auditorium.
Italian maestro, Massimo Pezutti in 2009 invites him to take part of the opera "Turandot" by G. Puccini in a tour through Guatemala, El Salvador, Panamá, Costa Rica and Nicaragua. Back in Montevideo Mr. Marandino sings the Ismaele in G. Verdi's "Nabucco" at the Teatro Solís, the "Messa di Gloria" by Puccini at the Nelly Goitiño Auditorium and at the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Riccardo from G. Verdi's "Un Ballo in Maschera" at the Tucuman's Teatro San Martín and then, finally sings the soloist tenor part from L. van Beethoven's 9th. Symphony at the opening of the "Sala Eduardo Fabini", from the  Adela Reta's Centre (SODRE). 
He starts 2010 singing Alfredo in Verdi's "La Traviata" in the 1st. Summer Classical Festival at Lapataia, Punta Ballena, Maldonado and then sings Edgardo and Lord Arturo in Donizetti's "Lucia di Lammermoor" and Don Basilio in Mozart's "Le Nozze di Figaro" at Montevideo's Teatro Solís.
