Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, he is an Italian citizen. Mr. Sanguinetti belongs to a musicians' family of the country and studies since very young piano, solfeo and violin. He starts his singing and interpretation lessons with soprano Alicia Pietrafesa, with whom he still continues studying.
In 1998, he studies to obtain a Master Degree in Singing in the "Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón de Buenos Aires" and works with Maestros such as: Reinaldo Censabella, Luis Gaeta and Gustavo Valerio.
In 2004, Mr. Sanguinetti takes part in Master Classes given by Maestro Jose Van Dam, organized by the Mozarteum in Saõ Paulo, Brazil.
In may 1998, he wins one of two nominations in the Hans Gabor Belvedere Competition and in july he wins the second prize in the "Settimo Concurso Internacional Carlos Gómes" in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In may 2000, Teatro Colón chooses him to participate in the Maria Callas Competition for Verdian Voices and that october he is finalist of the competition held at "Teatro Giuseppe Verdi di Busseto" and "Teatro Regio di Parma", Italy (being one of best three baritones of the competition). In november 2001, he is finalist in the "Primer Concurso Bienal Internacional de Arte Lírico del Uruguay", “Homenaje a G. Verdi” (Uruguay's First Biennial International Singing Competition, Homage to Giuseppe Vedri) in Montevideo.
Proffesionally Mr. Sanguinetti sings either opera, oratorium or lied.
In Uruguay he has sung the main roles in the following operas, Puccini's La Bohème and Turandot, Gounod's Roméo et Juliette, Verdi's Aida and J. Strauss's Die Fledermaus, and in Honegger's oratorium Jeanne D'Arc aux Boucher, allways with great success and excellent critics.
In Buenos Aires he has appeared in innumerable concerts, some of them at the "Salón Dorado del Teatro Colón" (Teatro Colon Golden Hall) and has  been invited to sing opera roles both in 2000 and 2001 official seasons of Teatro Colón, for example in, Gandini's Liederkrais, Offenbach's Les Contes d'Hoffmann and Lehar's Die Lustige Witwe
Mr. Sanguinetti has sung with reknown artists such as, Neil Shicoff, Alan Fondary, Frederica Von Stade, Thomas Allen and has been directed by Maestros such as Julius Rudel, Romano Gandolfi, Francois Delâcote, Miguel Patrón Marchand, Enrique Ricci, Piero Gamba, Mario de Rose, Renée Pietrafesa, Carlos Calleja and Pedro Ignacio Calderon.
He has also been invited by several theaters to sing main roles such as Don Carlo in Verdi's "Ernani", Riccardo in Donizetti's "I Puritani" and Marcello in Puccini's "La Bohème".
In 2002, Mr. Sanguinetti sings Germont in Verdi's La Traviata at "Luna Park" of Buenos Aires, Sharpless in Puccini's "Madama Butterfly" at "Complejo de Espectáculos del LATU" of Montevideo and Il Conte di Luna from Verdi's "Il Trovatore" in Ancona, Italy, places where he obtained a great success of the audience.
In 2003, he is invited by the "Festival de Opera de Belém", Brazil to sing the role of Silvio in Leoncavallo's "I Pagliacci" and sings in the official season of Teatro Colón in the worlds premier of Leo Masliah's opera "Maldoror" and in the production of Bizet's "Carmen".
In 2004, Mr. Sanguinetti debuts the rol of Saint Joseph in Berlioz's "L'enfance du Christ" at "Teatro Municipal de Rio de Janeiro" directed by Maestro Silvio Barbato; he is invited to the "8º Festival de Manaus" (Eighth Manaus Festival), Brazil, where he sings Gunther in Richard Wagner's "Götterdämmerung" and then he sings Capuleto in Gounod's "Roméo et Juliette" at "Teatro Argentino de La Plata", Argentina.

He also records the soloist voice of the uruguayan National Anthem, with the SODRE Choir and Orchestra (Government main sponsored institution).

In 2005, he debuts the role of Sancho at “Teatro Colón” in the argentinian premier  of Massenet’s opera “Don Quichotte”. He sings the Schaunard of Puccini’s “La Bohème” in Montevideo’s “Teatro Solís” first production after its reopening and then the role of Marcello in this same opera for “Teatro Argentino de La Plata”, Argentina. 
In 2006, Mr. Sanguinetti sings the Conte di Luna of Verdi's "Il Trovatore" at "Teatro Argentino de La Plata" and then the Roberto in Verdi's "I Vespri Siciliani" at "Teatro Colón".
He debuts the roles of Gérard in Umberto Giordano's "Andrea Chénier" at "Teatro Argentino de La Plata"  and then Scarpia in Puccini's "Tosca" at Montevideo's "Teatro Solís". Again at "Luna Park" of Buenos Aires, he sings in Puccini's "Madama Butterfly" the rol of Sharpless and then goes back to "Teatro Solís" as Germont in Verdi's "La Traviata".

In 2007, he sings Sharpless in Puccini's "Madama Butterfly" at "Teatro Argentino de La Plata" and then he debuts the role of Escamillo in Bizet's "Carmen" at Montevideo's "Teatro Solís".

In 2008, Mr. Sanguinetti debuts the role of Alfio in Mascagni's "Cavalleria Rusticana" at the "Teatro Argentino de La Plata" and then sings Sharpless in Puccini's "Madama Butterfly" at Montevideo's "Teatro Solís". He also sings in a Concert for the Centennial of the Japanese inmigration in Uruguay, in prescence of the Japanese imperial Princess.
Mr. Sanguinetti strats 2009 Season
at the "Teatro Argentino de La Plata" singing one of the jews in R. Stauss' "Salome" and then at Montevideo's "Teatro Solís" he debuts the title role of Verdi's "Nabucco" and sings the Figaro in Rossini's "Il Barbiere di Siviglia".
In 2010 he is called by the "Cia. Brasileira de Opera" to sing in Rossini's "Il Barbiere di Siviglia" the title role, in a tour all through Brazil during several months.
